Research
StandardJust bought sequel to Perfect Chemistry, for research purposes. Total lie. Bought it cause I liked book#1
Bolivia? Seriously?
Anyone know a couple of girls 14-18 who’d like to read one of my novels on watt pad? A couple of very non graphic sex scenes, but otherwise PG13. I need feedback, and if it gets published I promise to put their names in the acknowledgements (because I have no money and that’s the best I can do). They can reach me at carolnissenson at gmail.com (just avoiding spam by writing it that way).
Serbia
StandardWhile I am somewhat disappointed that my Brazilian fans didn’t check my blog yesterday, I am heartened that I had visitors from Serbia and the Netherlands.
Having described a bad romantic scene in a New Adult novel, I feel an obligation to mention two very lovely ones in YA novels. If you are expecting graphic details, good luck with that one. Any way, scene #1 is 75% interior monologue from the male character about how he feels about the girl and scene #2 is done primarily with art (she’s an artist) and music (he’s a musician) metaphors. Both are well into the R rated range and yet, not a vulgar moment in either. YES! It can be done.
And a hearty welcome to Trinidad and Tobago! I seem to have an international following, although, aside from Brazil it seems that most of the nations only stop by once.
